The Chinese Canadian Volleyball Association (CCVA) is
a non-profit member sports organization.CCVA encourages participation in volleyball, as part of a healthy
lifestyle, and promotes the pursuit of excellence for all players.
The organization strives to provide, including but
not limited to, all Chinese communities with fair and equal access to
participation and personal growth through recreational, competitive, instructional
and coaching programs. The association
encourages friendship between these communities and outside the communities.
The registration for the 2012 Chinese Canadian Volleyball Tournament is starting now. The tournament is organized by Chinese Canadian Volleyball Association (CCVA). The purpose of the tournament is to bring all Chinese volleyball fans together to make friends. As always, it is a non-profitable activity and all organizers and associates are volunteers.
The tournament has Men’s and Women’s Division. The tournament will be held in the gym of University of Toronto, Scarborough Campus http://www.utsc.utoronto.ca/~advancement/find/ on April 14, 2012, 9:00-18:00. The tournament will invite all Chinese teams in North America. Please have your team registered asap. To let all teams play more, we will have top 8 teams going for the Championship final and the rest teams going for a consolation final. The registration fee is $170CAD per team. The gym cost increased 25% this year with 1 hr extra time so that we can have consolation finals.
The registration is in team basis. Please send your team name, division, contact person phone no. and email address to league@ccvb.org or ocvt2009@hotmail.com for the registration. (fill the registration form below). Volunteers are needed, especially those experts in photos and videos.
